On January 17, 1963, the French FLUXUS artist Robert Filliou has appointed, in all unmodestness, his own birthday as the one millionth birthday of art. Worldwide all schools and factories should close at that day so that everybody could celebrate art in manifold ways. Not the painting at the wall but the artistic action should have priority, and presents should be made.

This year, deLupa seized this tradition of the Anniversaire de l‘Art and presented on this occasion the beautiful →Salle du Délire Visuel in Uzès. Assemblages from the →NONSENSITIV - Art in Boxes and →Emmations RED series, but also older Fluxus works of Klaus Wehmeier and then-friends were shown.

As action and gift, deLupa invited all guest to produce themselves with a massive crystal ball of about 5 kg weight. The result was photographed, immediately printed, signed and given.

So beautiful (see above) we ourselves looked doing this. And what our guest made of it, can be marvelled in the →Gallery.
Have fun!
