The Memorial of Abandonment is an installation that would like to migrate elsewhere.

There was a time when people illegally were taken away against their will, in a concentration camp. Some had the dubious fortune of being able to emigrate before. Only the most necessary could or was allowed  to be taken along.

So also in the Northern Hessian Meimbressen, a small village with formerly many jewish citizens. Seven storage bottles of an ancient Jewish store, balloon flasks in baskets, that had to be left behind in 1938, were there until three weeks ago.

These seven bottles can tell true stories, and so they do. We will witness this by looking at them carefully.
